The Halcyon Art Gallery is constructed to deliver an educational space to develop, sustain, and promote an artistic centered artistic community. The gallery encourages experimentation through the presentation of new works by emerging and established artists as well as provides outstanding artistic, educational, and collaborative programs in the arts.

The Halcyon Art Gallery is the Swope Art Museum art educational center. Our exhibitions reflect current contemporary issues and practices in the visual arts. The North gallery space of 1200 square feet features contemporary artists working in a wide range of media. The East wing of the gallery features experimental art including Sound and New Media installations.
